Resize an image
Change the width and height of a photo, scale it by percentage, or start from a common size.
Files never leave your device
These are common sizes, not official rules. Always check the instructions of your form, exam or visa application before uploading.
A maximum file size only works with JPG and WebP. The picture keeps the size you chose and only the quality is lowered.

Frequently asked questions
Are the common sizes official?
No. They are sizes that many forms ask for, but every form, exam and country sets its own rules. Always check the instructions of the form you are filling in.
What is the difference between the fit modes?
Keep proportions fits the whole photo inside the size. Fill and crop covers the exact size and trims the edges. Stretch changes the size exactly but can squash the picture.
Can I also set a maximum file size?
Yes. Pick a target size and the tool lowers the quality until the file fits, if the format allows it.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Resizing runs in your browser and your image stays on your device.
Does resizing up make it sharper?
No. Making a photo bigger cannot add detail, so it may look soft.
