Make a signature picture
Draw your signature, type it in a handwriting style, or photograph it on paper. The paper is removed and you get a clean PNG with a clear background.
Everything you type stays on your device
Make a signature picture with a clear (transparent) background. Draw it, type it in a handwriting style, or photograph it on paper. Then download it, or use it straight away in Sign PDF.
Draw with your finger or mouse. Cannot draw? Use the Type tab.
Sign with a dark pen on plain paper, in even light, and fill most of the picture with the signature.
Set automatically from your picture. Move it up if paper marks remain, down if the pen lines get thin.

Frequently asked questions
What is a signature with a transparent background?
A picture where only the ink is visible and the paper colour is gone. When you place it on a document, the text underneath stays visible and no white box covers it. The PNG format can hold this kind of clear background.
How do I make a signature from a photo?
Sign with a dark pen on plain white paper, take a sharp photo in even light, and choose it in the Photo tab. The tool removes the paper colour, picks a starting level from your picture, and crops to the signature. Move the Paper removal slider if paper marks remain or the pen lines look thin.
Can I get a JPG with a white background?
Yes. Tick the box to also make a JPG with a white background. Some application forms only accept JPG pictures and do not like a clear background. Check the size and file size the form asks for, and use Resize Image or Compress Image if needed.
Can I use the signature on a PDF?
Yes. Tap Use in Sign PDF after you make it. Sign PDF opens with the signature ready, and you choose a PDF and place it on a page. Everything stays in your browser.
Is this a legally valid signature?
It makes a picture of your signature. Whether a picture is accepted depends on the person or office asking for it. Some uses need a certified digital signature or an original in ink, so check what they accept.
Is my signature uploaded?
No. Drawing, typing, the photo clean-up and the files you download all happen in your browser on your device. The picture is not sent to our servers or anyone else.
